Election results in Seraiki vasaib are interesting and important to realize:

Out of total 54 national assembly seats, PPP won 26, PML-N won 13, PML-Q grabbed 10, re-polling on two constituencies (NA-171, & NA-172, Taunsa and D G Khan), while only 5 candidates were elected on independent status. Such a little numbers of independant candidates from Seraiki vasaib, in fact, indicates Seraiki peoples' tendency to vote on ideological basis (am I right?).

I have prepared a news report for Rohi TV (today's news) on this scenario, with an underlining that 'although PPP, for its claim of being a national level party, always ignored Seraiki peoples' claim of different cultural, political and economic identitiy, Seraiki people always express their confidence. How PPP response Seraiki peoples confidence, this time, it would be interesting to see.

Dear Wasim,

Nothing will change and things will remain as they are , at least for Seraiki people.

It is true that Seraikis voted for the Candidates belonging to political parties , but it is only one side of the picture . The other side which needs to be looked on is that how many of the winning candidates belong to middle class , I think not even a single one . All the elected parliamentarian belong to feudal classes . These fuedals are oblivious of the problems facing the Seraiki people . They are more concerned about their own petty interests.

PPP will do nothing more than what it has done for Seraikis in past , please have a look at Rauf Kalsras article , posted on this forum . It will clarify any misunderstanding about PPP's attitude towards Seraikis.
