This is an enquiry e-mail via http://www.wasaib.com from:
Muhemmed Aejaz <myasonu@yahoo.com>

Muhtaram Ijaz Sahab

It was really a pleasant find of the year for me to have hit the Wasaib.com. Congratulations to you and all others behind this much awaited resource base on Seraiki, for having made it a reality.

Both my parents come from Mianwali, but I myself have been educated and brought up in Peshawar. Presently I am domiciled in NWFP. Seraiki, nonetheless, remains my mother tongue.

I often tell my colleagues that after urdu, SERAIKI is the ONLY LANGUAGE SPOKEN AND OWNED IN ALL THE 4 PROVINCES OF PAKISTAN. No other regional language shares this unique status. I being a government servant, feel that Seraiki is truly a national language of Pakistan.

I will be happy to remain in touch with you and this website.

Congratualtions again.

Aejaz

Considering that Seraiki has such a rich culture and such a unique status in Pakistan, i am sometimes tempted to seek Pakistani citizenship, so that i can proudly call myself Seraiki. Change the identity and definition of Pakistan as a Punjabi-Siraiki-Sindhi-Balochi state and a non-theocratic one, and i will be the first to seek Pakistani citizenship.

Regards

Vikram
