Sir,

Tuhaday seraiki likhan da style meku baun pasand aye.

Hik lawz de baare puchhna hai.

Ussah likhya hai "asaday"

Usse akhaynde hain "Saday".

Lekin main hikk Bible di translation de vicch padhya hai

"ay sarag vich raan vaaley asaday pita" (our father in heaven)

My question is how is the word (a)saday (our) pronounced. Is the preceeding "a" pronounced or silent.

I understand that it would be a derivate of

Assah (we) and day(of)

But is it pronounced as assa day, or is it prnounced as (a)saday?

Thanks for your help.

I know there can be various phonetic variants in the various dialects. Your clarification will definitely help.

Thanks

Vikram
