About Wasaib.com 2007/01/16 02:53 Karma: 0
Dear Mr. Admin!

This is not to give any negative remarks about the precious work you have done, by providing us such a nice place to meet each other. The points, which I am going to mention below are just a feedback.

1- Although the website has been created using latest technology in the market, and all the necessary items have been included, but the interface is much confusing. I am a regular Internet user, and I wonder how an average user would comment about the interface! The website seems to burst all at once. One needs to fully grasp the environment first. Indeed, it did not leave any good impression on my mind. I do not know what to improve or discard, but regarding the addressed community, its complicated.

2- I am sorry to say that the website has an outlook of just like some kind of medical website. The colors are decent and the layout is attractive, but as for as Seraikis and Wasaib is concerned, they, in no way, represent our colorful heritage. The website gives an impression of a technical page full of unnecessary things, which add to the complexity. How good it have been, if the layout and design were related to the subject, a refreshing look and a pleasant layout representing SAAVAL, KARinK, ROHI, THAL, JHUMMAR, JAAGE, SUKH, SANGEET, GANVAN, TARIYAAN, KATH, RASANDH, PIYAR, everything we love to listen about.

3- When I visited forum, there was another problem there. I had to click again and again on too many shortcuts and links to view different categories of posts, it not only created delays on my dialup link but also confused me. How better it would have been if there were a few basic categories and a powerful search technique to find the posts in which one may be interested.

I would love to request you that please do consider these points with a promosing approach and turn this valuable resource into a place where everybody can feel a sense of belonging and ease.

Thank you so much for your time

Abbas Abbasi

Dear Abbas!

I agree with you on all points , ranging from interface of to contents on wasaib.comn. We have to realize that despite its all short comings , it is the only reasonable and decent website representing 50 million siraikies on cyber space. Before it was launched in July 2006, it indeed was impossible to to find a website containing information about siraiki language, people , culture and society.

Siraiki area is quite large , it covers areas from Mianwali and Dera Ismail Khan to Rahim Yar Khan and Bahawalpur, it has more than 20 districts and history and heritage of aeons , so expecting too much too quickly will be injustice with site and admin .

I salute Saeen Ejaz Baloch for all his efforts and paintakings in keeping this website upto date. We should not expect every thing from a single person. With in six months Saeen alone has managed to make this site a success.

I have sugesstion here, why not to take this website as our own. I am sure by offering helping hand we can make a difference. As you belong to Rahim Yar Khan , you must have lot of things from your area to contribute as it has a rich heritage and history. I assure you , your contribution will find appropriate place on this website and duly acknowledged.

In the mean time , you will see lot of changes on the site and one day we will see what we cherish.

Farooq

Dear Abbas,

Thanks for your input on the website. Regarding the layout & visual theme, I believe there are many people who actually like the current theme and never have had any issue with navigation style etc. So at this moment, I wouldn't worry about this at all.

However, as a team we need to put more focus in adding more content to the site and like Miana Sb. said, we would appreciate if you can make some serious content contribution to the site.

Thanks,
Kamran
