Zahoor Damani , a prominent Seraiki activist, thinker and intellectual was gunned down on first day of eid (15/10/2007) in Tank. He had animosity with his cousins and was receiving life threats for quite a long time .

He used to represent Dera Ismail Khan and Tank on various Seraiki forums. His death is a serious blow to Seraiki cause. The vaccum created by his murder will not be easily filled . It will be long before some else appears on the scene and takes his place.

This harsh enmity resulting in murder is strongly condemned. This is not typical of Seraiki Saqafat. May Allah ruin the oppressors where-ever and whoever they are.
