PAL (Pakistan Academy of Letters) announced the National Literary Awards on the best books written during the year 2006 in languages including Seraiki, Urdu, Punjabi, Sindhi, Pashto, Balochi, Brahvi and English.

In Seraiki, 'Khwaja Ghulam Farid Award' is given to Irshad Taunsvi on his book "Nadi Na Sanjok"

Each winner will be presented cash prize of Rs 50,000.
