Dear Brothers and Sisters

The start of this debate is concerning some email, which appeared on seraiki yahoo group regarding three resolutions passed in Khawja Farid conference.
Normally people like me who are away from homeland do not want to disturb "intellectuals" like you who running this campaign to "take over" Department of Seraiki in BZU. However, being a student of BZU and also being a seraiki, watching and observing all seraiki movements and results. I felt appalling when someone wants to ruin respect, teaching system just for personal agendas. If any body wants to become chairperson of seraiki department, he must come through a formal way to get that job and not using “democratic sword”, because teaching and managing teaching institutions need certain qualifications to sit on these posts. I personally did 70-80 courses and some degrees in Pakistan and in UK and working as chair, Trustee and management committee member in Pakistan and UK, being a journalist and broadcaster in Canadian radio but it is not making me a good chairperson. If someone had not taught in institutions and thought he is intelligent enough to lead a department, then I must say he is wrong. Currant faculty of seraiki department is included very experienced people and we should be proud and should help them to develop seraiki department rather then campaigning against it. This is my prediction on behalf of constant contact with those people that, they will leave soon but we must keep in mind that we will lose very dedicated people who never claimed they are enough for the department, but in reality they are the people who struggle to suggest seraiki department, bringing books on behalf of their personal relations and they used their expertise. Rather then strengthening them we are campaigning to bring incompetent people who will be a loss of working environment, through resolutions we should not try to remove people instead we should try to give our support, real support to those who already working for seraiki cause and should wait and get skills to be qualified for the post and our turn to start,

You can win numbers through resolutions but not real development and hearts. Please do not damage seraiki cause, try to put resolutions for seraikistan and get it.
